Keeping the cockpit as clean and clutter-free as possible not only contributes to the success of your team, it also reflects on your professionalism. Here’s a good little tip we utilize to keep the pit organized and everything close at hand. You may have seen it before, but good ideas are good ideas no matter where you get them.
Make a convenient rack for all manner of gear by crimping a piece of heavy 200-pound leader between the rod holders on your chair’s rocket launcher. This is especially helpful if you do not have a drawer on your rocket launcher. You can hang your live-bait loops, rigs, tools and just about anything else you can think of. I even hang clips on them to hold my rubber bands.
