Capt. Brian Speedy and the team on the 74-foot Viking Yachts Miss Victoria boated two white marlin on back-to-back days to secure the lead in this year’s White Marlin Roundup.

On Day One, the team caught six white marlin, releasing five and boating one fish which weighed 70.8 pounds. On Day Two, the team boated another white weighing a hefty 98.8 pounds, plus added another white marlin and a pair of sailfish released. Day Three secured the win for Miss Victoria owner Bob Genord, with the team releasing one blue and one white marlin, but not before the Spencer Yachts Lai Day and Paul Mann Lo Que Sea gave the Viking team a run for their money. Lai Day and Lo Que Sea finished in second and third, respectively.
