Life is Good

Consistent fall fishing off Hawaii brings smiles

Fall in Kona, Hawaii, usually means good fishing and great weather, and this year is no exception. In this episode of Visions of Granders, Capt. Chris Donato goes three-for-four on blue marlin and releases a bonus spearfish for his first group of anglers, then is two-for-two by 10 a.m. for a second group.

He also discusses boat speed and, more importantly, how to determine a good trolling speed aboard your vessel. Finding that sweet spot is key to success on the water especially when lure-fishing for blue marlin.
