There’s building big boats—and then there’s building them two at a time. Jarrett Bay Boatworks has announced the commission of its third 90-foot custom sportfish, Hull 69, a project that will run concurrently with the already in-progress Hull 68 at the company’s Beaufort, North Carolina facility.
It’s a rare sight in the custom world, where builds of this scale demand not only elite craftsmanship but also deep engineering resources and a highly synchronized team. For Jarrett Bay, it’s further proof that demand for fully custom, globally capable sportfishing machines remains strong at the very top end of the market.
Hull 69 is designed with a singular purpose: to chase big game across the world’s premier fisheries. The build will blend the yard’s signature Carolina heritage with modern performance, refined accommodations, and the range and reliability required for extended international campaigns. From cockpit layout to interior finish, every inch will be tailored to owner and crew, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for building highly personalized, performance-driven platforms.
The timing is no coincidence. As Jarrett Bay approaches its 40th anniversary, projects like Hull 69 highlight both its legacy and its trajectory—rooted in tradition but firmly focused on pushing the limits of what a custom sportfish can be.
With two 90-footers rising side by side, the message is clear: at the highest level of the sport, Jarrett Bay isn’t just keeping pace—it’s setting it.
