After arrival at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), you will be met by Marlin Expeditions representatives for transfer to the luxurious grounds of Playa Grande in the heart of Cabo San Lucas. After settling into your suite, you will receive an orientation to the week’s activities while enjoying a group dinner with fellow guests.
Get acquainted with your boat, crew, tackle, and the proven fishing techniques that will be put to work throughout the tournament. A Marlin Expeditions instructor will join you to help you sharpen your skills, build confidence, and settle into the rhythm of offshore competition before the stakes rise. Then, at the conclusion of Day 3, join hundreds of fellow anglers and teams at the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament registration gala. Enjoy an evening of great food, entertainment, and camaraderie while tournament officials provide an overview of the rules, procedures, and key information you’ll need for the days ahead. It’s the perfect kickoff to one of the most anticipated billfishing events in the world.

Call in hookups, capture the excitement of billfish releases on video, and put points on the board throughout the day. Then return to the scales each evening with your best gamefish catches. Option 1: 19’s Toy, 35-foot flybridge
Four-angler maximum. The 19’s Toy is outfitted with top-tier tackle, fish finder, air conditioning, and additional extras. Package pricing at $36,000 per team, all inclusive of charter boat, tips, tournament base entry, hotel and ground transportation.
Option 2: Bandito, 42-foot Cabo
Four-angler maximum. The Bandito includes top-tier tackle, gyro-stabilizer, side-scanning sonar and fish finder, air conditioning, and additional extras. Package pricing at $44,000 per team, all inclusive of charter boat, tips, tournament base entry, hotel and ground transportation.
Option 3: Karma, 54-foot Sculley
Six-angler maximum. Karma is equipped with top-tier tackle, gyro stabilizer, omni-sonar and fish finder, air conditioning, and additional extras. Package pricing at $56,000 per team, all inclusive of charter boat, tips, tournament base entry, hotel and ground transportation.

Designed in a classic Mexican hacienda style, the resort features spacious suites with kitchens or kitchenettes, private balconies and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and Baja coastline. Each expedition package includes 7 nights at Playa Grande Resort in a Presidential Suite, 2 days of pre-fishing, base entry into the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament and 3 tournament fishing days, crew tips, breakfast and lunch on the boat, hosted dinner each night, and transfers between the airport, hotel, and boat. Playa Grande’s two-bedroom Presidential Suite accommodates up to 6 guests, making it well suited for a tournament team.
To secure and confirm your reservation with Marlin Expeditions, the following payment schedule is required:

c. Forfeiture & Floater Credit
If you cancel within the non-refundable period but your vacant spot is resold and the trip runs at full capacity, your deposited funds (less the administrative fee) may be placed into a Floater Credit for future expedition use.
d. Failure to Appear / No-Show
Travel insurance and emergency evacuation coverage are not included in your expedition fare and are strongly recommended to protect your financial investment, trip fare, and personal safety.
