A fleet of 139 teams descended upon Cabo San Lucas from October 17–20 for the 2025 Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore Tournament. Often called the “Little Bisbee’s,” this event once again proved it’s anything but small, delivering red-hot fishing action and a staggering $2.7 million in total payouts.
The two-day tournament saw incredible fishing across the board, with the fleet tallying 395 billfish overall—148 striped marlin, 99 blue marlin, 116 sailfish, and six black marlin—along with 15 yellowfin tuna and 11 dorado.
Topping the Top Tournament Team – Billfish standings was No Limits Fishing, led by angler Brian Spicer, whose 432-pound black marlin earned them the coveted first-place trophy and $104,111 in prize money.
Just behind them in the standings—but at the top of the payout sheet—was Team Santana, led by Jesse Santana Jr., whose 424-pound black marlin, landed on Day 2, swept the $500, $1,000, $2,000, and $5,000 daily jackpot categories. That single fish earned the team a massive $1,114,362, proving that timing and the right tournament strategy can make all the difference in Cabo.
Team Greybull, with angler William Cooper, finished third overall with another black marlin weighing in at 398 pounds, claiming $510,668 in winnings to round out a thrilling leaderboard.
In the gamefish divisions, Los Caboss, with Ludovic Agassiz at the rod, took top tuna honors with a 294-pound yellowfin, earning $74,880. Mas Crudo’s Sean Green followed with a 272-pounder, and Eduardo Beltrán on board Estrella del Norte finished third at 247 pounds.
The dorado division was equally competitive, led by Alex Moherek’s 52-pound bull that earned his team $120,780.00 and bragging rights for the heaviest dolphin of the tournament.
With the Bisbee’s Black & Blue kicking off the following week, the excitement in Cabo was only just beginning, as many of these same teams readied their gear and hopes for an even bigger prize ahead.
