The all-time single-day release record for the Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown has fallen. Yesterday, the fleet of 43 boats participating in the second leg of the series released an incredible 1,103 sailfish in eight hours of fishing. That’s an average of more than 25 per boat and 137 sailfish an hour. The previous record was during the 2015 Triple Crown (Leg III) with 879 billfish releases on the first day.
