Mold Craft Scaled Squid and Reel Eel
Frank Johnson, owner of Mold Craft, and the inventor behind the world-famous softhead lure, never stops thinking about new ways to catch fish, and neither does his son, Frank III. The duo recently came out with a couple of innovations, improving on some of their more successful products: the Scaled Squid, which is an improvement on the industry-standard Squirt Squid, and the brand-new Reel Eel, which is based on the company’s Tough Hoo. The Scaled Squid sports a brand-new scale pattern that adds a new dimension and more natural appearance to the Mold Craft squid lineup. The new squids come in a wide variety of colors and in bulk packaging, rigged, and in five-packs of daisy chains. The Reel Eel is based on Mold Craft’s Tough Hoo design, though it’s more streamlined and molded as a solid piece without a body cavity for an even tougher bait at a better price. The eels come in three sizes and can be mounted on a jig head or loaded on a dredge. Anything that will eat an eel will eat a Mold Craft Reel Eel.
