Following through with their promise to expand the Billfish series into larger models, Viking will debut the new 46 Billfish at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. A ready-to-go-fishing machine, anglers will love the room on the 140 square-foot cockpit. It’s absolutely loaded with fishing amenities including:
- Cockpit bait freezer with an upper tray
- In-Deck insulated fish boxes that drain overboard
- Walk-through transom door and lift gate
- Transom live-well with an additional fish box
- Tons of rod holders and tackle storage
- Ability to have a fighting chair, rocket launchers, or table installations right on the deck
As with all Viking Sportfish, the 46 Billfish will have the signature mezzanine seating so guests can watch all the action in comfort.
Show Premiere – Viking 38 Open Billfish
The new 38 Open Billfish is extremely versatile, appealing to both anglers and day boaters. Viking designers combined the open command center and 109 square foot cockpit with comfortable living accommodations to create a fantastic fishing/cruising boat. All of the fishing options you need can be loaded on to the 38 Open, mimicking the 38 Billfish.
Below deck though, the 38O shines and uses it’s 14-foot beam to its advantage. The high-gloss teak creates a fit-and-finish that rivals motor yachts. The forward stateroom features a lower double berth and an upper single with storage options in a hanging locker and drawers. The starboard sofa can also be used as an additional bunk for overnight trips with friends.
