Each of the four fishing days awards $10,000. Anglers can fish any of the four fishing days by registering no later than 7:00 p.m. the prior evening. The tournament features three weigh stations including East Cape, San Jose and Cabo San Lucas.

The first day of competition saw 225 anglers from the UK, Canada, Mexico and 27 different U.S. states, who took advantage of the Free Entry and hit the fertile waters off Los Cabos for the 7:30 a.m. start.

The anglers and guests are fishing aboard 75 different Los Cabos Charter Boats, enjoying a fun day on the water with a chance to win cash compliments of The Los Cabos Tourism Board. The dorado bite has been fantastic, lots of wahoo have been caught near the shore and good numbers of marlin are being released.
