Set over the July 4th weekend, concurrent with the Blue Marlin World Cup, the signature Firecracker Open Big Game Tournament gives Kona teams the chance to compete on a global scale while also winning big locally. The event features a base purse split between blue marlin and ahi, along with multiple optional jackpots for both weighed and tagged fish.

Saturday 7/4
6:00 AM: Boats permitted to leave Honokohau Marina
8:30 AM: Start Anywhere
4:30 PM: Lines Out
6 PM: All boats inside Honokohau Marina
6:30 PM: Deadline for release video submissions (see below for exceptions)
Sunday 7/5
6:30-7 AM: Visual check out North Side of Fuel Dock
7 AM: Shotgun Start
4 PM: Lines Out
6 PM: All boats inside Honokohau Marina
