Boat Review: Rampage 33 Express
You have no idea how small 33 feet is until you try to design a second home within its boundaries…
You have no idea how small 33 feet is until you try to design a second home within its boundaries…
The Davis 52 represents one of the company’s most successful designs.
This Liberty sports a very traditional look, reminiscent of the Bertram 31 (the world’s best-selling sportfishing boat of all time), with the engine boxes extending out into the cockpit.
This, the smallest Bertram the company has built in many years, represents a giant leap from the old Spartan days of Moppie and the ubiquitous Bertram 31.
The good people at DeSanti Dolomiti Marine Group looked everywhere for exactly what they wanted in a boat, but they couldn’t find a production builder that could meet their requirements. Those requisites stemmed from a desire for a more secure boat for family fishing and cruising. Hence, the DeSanti 40 XPS was born.
The Liberty 42 has an offshore hull that you must ride to believe. If you want a rocket ship, then look elsewhere. But if you want a boat with midrange responsiveness, excellent fuel economy and an unsurpassed ride in a sea, then you owe it to yourself to inspect this boat.
This sure-footed 30 includes all the necessities to make extended outings a comfortable experience.
Yet another quiet success for Ocean Yachts.
The Viking 50 Open is so well-designed for fishing that the only equipment you’ll need to bring are rods, reels and bait.
Nicks extensive background in advanced composites, combined with Josephs background of marine engineering and naval architecture, provides Liberty with the concentrated knowledge and ability to produce strong, effective fishing machines.
Boston Whaler takes their reputation to the big-boat industry.
After looking over Viking’s brand-new 50 Open, my only question is why anyone wouldn’t want a 50-foot express.
