Gamefisherman, Inc. recently announced the sale of the company to shipwright Erwin Gerards and long-time custom boat aficionado Scott Dunnack. Since 1985, Gamefisherman has produced their legendary sport boats under the careful guidance of owner Mike Matlack. After 33 years of ownership, Matlack is stepping down to make way for the next generation of sport boats to come out of the Treasure Coast region of Stuart, Florida.

Gerards and Dunnuck are excited for the future of Gamefisherman and intend to keep Matlack’s vision moving forward with a new line of 43-foot all-composite models. Designed to withstand the rigors of today’s demands, the next-generation models will possess all the attributes of a true custom boat in a walk-around, express or flybridge style.
