In July, 2017, Marlin Senior Editor Sam White ventured to Costa Rica for a day of fishing on Open Fly, the newest and largest build to date from Maverick Yachts. A full review of the boat will be published in Marlin but in the meantime, here is a complete gallery of images, including 360 degree footage of the boat.

The boat's layout allows for plenty of comfortable accommodations below-deck for anglers or crew on multi-day expedition trips to the distant seamounts offshore.Courtesy Maverick Yachts

The book-matched teak provides a unique look to the forward bulkhead, where drop panels concealed the boat's television monitor to port and microwave on the starboard-side.Sam White

To port in the salon is a small dinette with two barstools. The countertops are granite, not Corian.Sam White
