The newest custom project coming out of F&S Boatworks is Showtime!, a 68-footer with an anticipated delivery date in the summer of 2025. She was designed with extensive input from an experienced captain and longtime sport-fisher owners, with the objective of maximizing offshore fishability, guest comfort and extended-stay liveaboard amenities while having redundant systems throughout.
Key features include a full tuna tower, a pair of Onan 29 kW generators, a SeaKeeper 18 gyroscope, a fully custom wake-adapted drivetrain, Release Marine helm and fighting chairs, a SpotZero watermaker and dockside treatment system, high-capacity refrigeration and freezer units, Furuno Omni sonar and a pressurized baitwell system.
Her four-stateroom and three-head layout offers a full-beam midship owner’s stateroom, a spacious VIP stateroom forward and two crew/guest rooms. On the upper deck is an open floor plan featuring a large galley and a salon with sofa seating and several customized rod and tackle storage areas.
F&S utilizes a variable-deadrise hull design with longitudinal steps for an optimal blend of speed, efficiency, ride and seakeeping ability. Weight-saving technologies are used throughout the build. The twin 2,000-horsepower MTUs are expected to deliver a 35-knot cruise, with a top speed in excess of 43 knots.
