Ladies Fish-Off Set for 30th Annual Tournament

A chance for lady anglers to fish and compete May 28-31 in Pompano Beach, Florida



The Ladies Annual Fish-Off, a 501c3, will celebrate their 30th annual tournament May 28-31 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Last year the Ladies Annual Fish-Off donated a total of $20,000 to The Billfish Foundation and The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida as well as $1500 to the Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center’s Fisheries Lab. Over the past 29 years the Ladies Fish-Off has raised over $470,000 for charities. The tournament is not only a chance to fish with fellow women anglers, it is also an opportunity to raise money for exceptional charities.

The kickoff party and captain's meeting will be held Thursday May 28, 2015 at Galuppi’s in Pompano Beach from 6-10 pm. The fishing will be on Saturday May 30, 2015, and boats can check out of Port Everglades or Hillsboro Inlet. The Weigh-In will be held at Alsdorf Park off 14th St Causeway in Pompano Beach. The Awards Brunch will be held at J.Mark’s Restaurant in Pompano Beach on Sunday May 31st, 2015.

The top 10 boats and top three lady anglers will receive cash and prizes along with awards for the top three largest fish in the five non-billfish categories: blackfin tuna, cobia, dolphin, kingfish and wahoo. Top Family, Top Junior, Top Captain and Top Pee-Wee prizes will also be awarded.
