Here’s a five-day fishing trip in Cairns, Australia, boiled down to 100 photos, give or take a few! This trip took place over Thanksgiving 2012 aboard Kekoa with Capt. Luke Fallon. 1. Cairns in the summer sun.
Heading out on a cloudy day.
Using the big Accurate 130s on this trip.

Jack waiting on the leader.
She’s coming …
Going away …
Big head shot.
Bigger head shot.
Almost all the way out …
Big girl pulling hard …
It’s a big one.
Coming up again, lit like a Christmas tree.
Turning broadside! That’s a cover shot!
Trying to get the lure back.
And still trying.
Ron on the last fish of the trip. Turned out to be a wahoo.
Back at the dock, met up with Randy Baker and …
Capt. Bill Billson, world-famous captain on Viking 11.
