Pursuit’s newest model, the 3000 Express, features 250-hp Cummins power that provides quiet, reliable performance and a wide 10’6″ beam that affords a smooth, dry ride even in rough weather. With a fuel capacity of more than 200 gallons and an efficient 18.4-gph rating at her cruise speed of 29.5 mph, the 3000 is easily able to reach distant fishing grounds and cruise to faraway ports. At her top-end of 3,000 rpm, she reaches a top speed of 37.5 mph.

Captains operating from the starboard helm will appreciate the large raised windshield that keeps the welded-aluminum frame out of the line of sight in all directions. The 3000 features Pursuit’s trademark tilt-away helm console with easy access to all flush-mounted electronics, and the cabin door, centered on the bridge, slides neatly to the port side.

Seating on the bridge includes a ladder-back-style helm seat for the captain, while passengers and crew enjoy the view from a portside L-shaped lounge seat. Aft of the helm seat is an entertainment center complete with sink and freezer. The angler can watch the spread from a rear-facing seat aft of this entertainment center. All essential equipment can be stored on the port side under the lounge, and the livewell/insulated storage box aft of the lounge will keep both bait and refreshments cold.

Forward on the bow, a total of three hatches and four portholes allow plenty of natural light and fresh air into the cabin. The cabin features all the amenities necessary for an overnight cruise or for extended trips to the islands. The teak-and-holly sole adds a warm feel to the interior, which features a full stand-up head, galley, dinette with convertible bunk and forward berth. Plenty of storage areas are located throughout the cabin.

The cockpit, along with all deck areas, features Pursuit’s diamond-patterned nonskid for sure footing. Cockpit coaming bolsters and freeboard height feel just right when fighting a fish or moving about the cockpit. Four Lee’s rod holders, bait-prep center with tackle lockers forward on the bridge deck, fish box in the cockpit floor and 30-gallon livewell round out the fishing
amenities.

The 3000 is constructed from hand-laid fiberglass, with specially formulated resins and a water-barrier outer gel-coat layer for long-lasting protection. As with all Pursuits, the 3000 features the company’s five-year transferable warranty on the hull and deck.
