Seraphim Takes the Checkered Flag at the Sailfish 400

The fishing came down to the wire in this year’s Sailfish 400, with Seraphim narrowly edging out the fleet for the win. They released 11 sailfish in two days, winning $246,850 in prize money. Finishing a close second was Contender One with 10 releases. Priceless also let go 10 billfish to place third, falling just short on time of release. Liquid, the winner of the 2016 Silver Sailfish Derby, placed fourth with nine releases. Qualifier landed themselves in fifth overall with nine releases as well. In the two-day tournament the 47-boat fleet released 212 qualifying billfish. This year’s Sailfish 400 also featured a total purse of $665,800.
