Marlin University provides a comprehensive fishing adventure designed to teach students, basic through advanced, heavy-and light-tackle angling skills. Each student gets four days of hands-on blue-water instruction from Marlin U’s handpicked instructors. Some of the topics covered include: tackle selection, general angling skills, bait rigging, presentation, handling fish at the boat, boating fish and boat-operating skills.

The maximum teacher-to-student ratio is no more than four students per instructor and/or boat. Smaller class sizes ensure you the best offshore education. You'll learn it all!

You'll Learn how to:

  • Fish every day like it's a tournament
  • Rig different baits and lures
  • Set your trolling spread
  • How to maneuver the boat when hooked up
  • Use proper wiring and gaffing techniques
  • Tag and release the catch properly

  • Eliminate common mistakes
  • Plan your fishing day ahead of time
