Ask any captain about the difficulty level of changing a water-pump impeller and the responses will usually range anywhere from very high to incredibly frustrating. That’s what prompted Scott Benford from Global Marine Solutions to invent the Impellereze. With a patent-pending design and ultra-durable stainless-steel construction, this simple tool makes short work of swapping out impellers in a variety of diesel engines. Impellereze is currently available for Caterpillar C12, C15, C18, C30, C32, C32A, 3412E and Cummins QSM11 engines, and it will be expanding its selection of available sizes in the coming months.
