Big Oh owner Gray Ingram recaps the team’s epic fishing in Cape Verde: Another incredible fishing season comes to a close (April, May, June). We had much better fishing conditions this year with most days fishing the São Pedro bank only 8 miles from the marina. Some highlights were the release of 37 fish over 500 pounds, four fish over 800 pounds, and two triples with my son and grandson. We end the season with 404 Atlantic blue marlin releases. Cape Verde is hands down my all time favorite blue marlin spot. If it isn’t already on your fishing bucket list, it should be. Big thanks to Capt. Ronnie Fields and mates Tyler Princinsky and Nick Bovell for all their hard work. Pretty work boys! Congratulations! — Graybird Click through to view more amazing photos from the season.
