Big Oh, consisting of Owner Gray Ingram, Capt. Ronnie Fields, and mates Tyler Princinski and Nick Bovell, celebrates its 1,000th blue marlin release of all time. The team has now released 304 blue marlin so far between April and May while fishing in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, along with one sword, one spearfish and one white marlin. From owner Gray Ingram: “Another great day in Cape Verde, we ended with 8/10, saw 13. Less than 7 years after building our 63′ Scarborough Boat Works and fishing many different countries, today we released Big Oh‘s 1,000th Blue Marlin! I want to congratulate Capt. Ronnie Fields and our new mates Tyler Princinsky and Nicholas Bovell. What an awesome accomplishment! Ronnie, it has been an epic 6 years with you on the Big Oh. I can’t put into words how much fun it has been reaching this goal. Thank you for your hard work, dedication and most of all, your friendship. I couldn’t be more grateful to have you as our captain.” — Graybird Click through to see some of the team’s recent fishing highlights.
