“I am submitting this picture of an 850 lb Atlantic Bluefin Tuna for my father. Two years ago he ventured up to Nova Scotia and fished with Capt. Karl Anderson, Capt. James “Chuy” Roberts and, famous lure maker, Andy Moyes and caught this amazing fish. I was lucky enough to go up two weeks before and fish with the same crew but was unsuccessful in hooking any GIANTS! Dad is an IGFA trustee and an avid fisherman and conservationist. As you know his father and my grandfather, the late Walter W. Fondren III was the founder of the CCA and a pioneer in his day. I hope yall enjoy the photo…” –– Robert Fondren From left to right: Ben Brownlee, Rob E. Fondren, Capt. Karl Anderson, Francy F. Fondren

“I am the angler, it was 170 pounds… so clearly there was no way I could hold it and pose… I was just happy getting it into the boat rather than letting it pull me out of the boat.” –– Jennifer Allegra

“Yellowfin caught at Christmas Island, Indian Ocean, on November 26th 2010. During the drill, my left shoulder capsule was ripped off. Had surgery on April 4 2011. Almost recovered now, so I can start big-game fishing in 2013 again. I fish all over the world, from Kona (8 times) to Mauritius (4 times) to Cabo Verde, Puerto Rico, Mexico. Tight Lines!” –– Arjen Waldus
