With the help of professional saltwater captains and guides, Berkley created this line as a professional grade monofilament for use in big water. The high strength per diameter line with excellent knot and impact strength adds to angler confidence and control. Hard-charging tuna and high-flying sailfish may challenge the angler’s abilities but are no match for ProSpec.
With its thin diameter, and ultra-smooth formula, ProSpec delivers a line that lays great on the spool and allows baits to run deeper and more natural. Another advantage of the thinner diameter is increased line capacity on the spool.
ProSpec is available in translucent Ocean Blue and hi-vis Fluorescent Yellow colors with a wide variety of pound tests including: 12, 16, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100 and 130.
