| 1. Double up a 12-inch section of floss and thread it through the ½-ounce sinker, leaving a loop on one end. | ![]() |
| 2. Put the resulting loop over the ballyhoo's head and seat it behind the gill plates on both sides. | ![]() |
| 3. Place the ballyhoo in the Rigging Rack and rest the weight on the ledge provided. | ![]() |
| 4. Make an overhand knot in the floss and tighten down, putting your index fingers in the bait's eye sockets to hold the bait in position. | ![]() |
| 5. Pass each tag end through the bait's eye sockets and pull gently to take up any slack. | ![]() |
| 6. Flip the ballyhoo over in the Rigging Rack and tie an overhand knot. | ![]() |
| 7. Pull each tag end apart until the knot slides down, closing the gill plates. | ![]() |
| 8. Trim both tag ends. | ![]() |
| 9. Slide your circle hook under the first knot that you made on the bait's upper lip. Put the bait in the water and watch it swim like Michael Phelps! | ![]() |
