New Enclosure/Cover Pin

With Accon Marine’s new quick-release pin, the whole process gets a lot simpler.

Putting the cover or cockpit enclosures on a boat is a necessary part of short- or long-term storage, but it can be a hassle. With Accon Marine’s new quick-release pin, the whole process gets a lot simpler. This pin was specifically designed for use at the farthest ends of a boat cover for ease of closure and added holding strength. Since it passes through the grommet of a cover, the quick-release pin makes it easier for owners to attach the cover to the boat without having to align the snaps through strenuous pulling.

The base of the pin is installed on the boat in the same location where a snap base would be located. Then the pin goes through the cover’s grommet and is pressed securely into the base. To release, users push the button in the middle of the pin and pull it out. Designed for years of use, the pin’s base is constructed from 6061 marine-grade aluminum. The post, nylon insert locknut and washer are all made from stainless steel.
