Instant Release Clip

...you can add a roller clip to any setup without having to re-rig your entire system.

As a mate who normally hops from boat to boat, I'm constantly amazed and/or startled by how different crews set up their halyards. Most boats have a short-rigger clip, a long-rigger clip, and a dedicated halyard with a glass or stainless-steel ring to help raise and lower the bridge teasers. If you don't have a teaser ring, or want to use a breakaway when running one or more teasers from the cockpit, you can add a roller clip to any setup without having to re-rig your entire system.

Whenever I get on a boat that lacks a clip, I simply attach an AFTCO Roller Troller to a commercial longliner clip via a small stainless-steel shackle. Simply clip this rig onto your existing halyards, and you have another attachment point for lures, teasers or whatever you want to pull.
