Marlin's Top Captains and Mates

You voted and the results are in...
Jun 4, 2008

Over the years, Marlin has featured many captains and mates within its pages. Some of these men run charter boats while others run private boats, but one thing remains constant — their dedication and passion to the sport of big-game fishing is unwavering — that's why they excel. As Marlin's readers fish all corners of the globe with captains of all walks, it only made sense that we let you, the reader, vote for those men who left an impression on you as being tops in their field. We received hundreds of votes for various captains and mates, but the following 10 received the most nominations. We'd like to congratulate them as the first round of men to become the Marlin Top Captains and Mates.
