As always, we are pleased to present a gallery of the newest, most exciting marine art. Each year the growing number of gifted artists makes it tougher and tougher for our panel of art directors and editors to choose the finalists for Marlin's annual Art Gallery. This year proved no different as we received over 100 submissions from 40 artists, our most to date.
Some of the artists are immediately recognizable, but many up-and-comers and first-time gallery finalists may surprise you with their eye for detail, color choice, subject matter and medium. The world of marine art continues to grow each year, and it's a privilege to present you with a small glimpse of what's out there.
We received a wide range of original art for consideration, including sculptures, paintings, carvings, jewelry and mixed media. In the end, numerous impressive and unique pieces were left out of Marlin because of space limitations, but all are worthy of consideration. For that reason, we have placed works from each artist online for you to view at your discretion.
