Another junior angler may be the first to capture a newly added species record. Ainsley Mignon Huizenga, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., USA, landed a gray snapper, (Lutjanus griseus) on June 17 weighing .91 kg (2 lb 0 oz) using cut tuna for bait while fishing Elbow Cay, Bahamas. She'll be the first species record holder in the female smallfry division if her record is approved.
