While shooting a recent episode of Guy Harvey's Portraits From The Deep TV Series, Guy Harvey and the World Productions TV crew happened upon a monster black marlin while fishing the famed Zane Grey Reef off Pinas Bay, Panama.

Check out the exclusive video of western Australia angler Neil Patrick do battle with an estimated 1,200-pound giant marlin. The fight took Patrick over 3 1/2 hours on 50-pound test. During the fight, Harvey donned his scuba gear and dove down to the fish to capture some spectacular underwater footage. Harvey also attached a second swivel to the fish so Patrick could get some help from a second angler. The crew needed to raise the fish quickly without harming it. The crew then tagged the black beauty with a pop-up satellite tag, and released the fish in the name of science.
