Capt. Allen DeSilva of Mako Charters sent us a report recently of this huge blue marlin caught late last week in Bermuda. The fish was estimated at 1100 pounds before she was tagged and released.
Angler Ronald Mesaros fought the marlin boatside after a three-hour battle while fishing with Capt. DeSilva and mate Sloan Wakefield aboard the Mako. The fish struck a Bluedog lure about eight miles south of Bermuda.
