Moyes Custom Lures

Moyes makes every lure himself, and he recently took second place in the Bertram-Hatteras Shootout...

Veteran captain and world traveler Andy Moyes started making lures in 1983 at the age of 13 and has spent the past 22 years of his life fishing in the fish-rich waters of Central and South America. Last May, Moyes started making his lures for the general public and created quite a stir with his beautiful shapes and stellar finishes. Moyes crafts all of his lures from the highest-quality components - from the real abalone shell to the water-clear, UV-stable polyurethane. He prides himself on combining old-world craftsmanship with space-age materials, all the while keeping an emphasis on performance. Moyes makes every lure himself, and he recently took second place in the Bertram-Hatteras Shootout on his medium-sized slant head called the Bushmaster.

Moyes makes all of the popular head shapes like plungers, chuggers, etc. but also includes a few of his own. The lures come in a wide variety of custom skirt colors, and you can pretty much pick and choose what you want.
