Hall Em In made its reputation by producing a premium line of handcrafted wooden lures and tackle boxes for the inshore crowd. The company's use of premium hardwoods and an excellent finish earned a loyal following among the extremely educated guides and anglers who fish Florida's famed Mosquito Lagoon. The company recently added a line of offshore lures constructed from the same high-end materials.

The series consists of four differently shaped trolling plugs made by hand from cherry wood. Craftsmen impregnate the wood with sealer, then put on three coats of primer and seven coats of lacquer paint. They then seal the plug with five coats of epoxy to the keep the plug waterproof and provide an extremely durable finish. The Offshore series sports a through-wire design with 800-pound stainless-steel wire, Mustad 7691S hooks, SPRO inline swivels and 3x stainless split rings. The Squid and M2 (shown here) come in 8-, 10- and 12-inch lengths and custom colors.
