Daiwa Seaborg Megatwin Dual Speed Reels
Want to bring up your rig at warp speed to re-bait? No problem — just use the high-speed mode.

Daiwa's new Seaborg Megatwin Dual Speed Reels take deep-drop fishing innovation to a whole new level, allowing anglers to shift instantly between high-power and high-speed ranges with the push of a button.

Technologically advanced yet easy-to-use, both the Daiwa SB500MT and the
larger SB750MT Dendoh style reels let you increase either retrieve speed or winding power to suit the particular angling situation. Want to bring up your rig at warp speed to re-bait?  No problem — just use the high-speed mode. Need extra torque to move big fish off the bottom? You can turn your SB500MT or SB750MT into a superwinch by simply pressing the "power" button.

Like all of Daiwa's Dendoh Style reels, the new 12-volt powered SB500MT and SB750MT Seaborg Megatwin models offer significant advantages over the bulky, unwieldy electric reels previously available to deep-drop anglers. Yet, despite their sleek, lightweight design, these reels give up nothing when it comes to power and performance.  Daiwa's SB500MT delivers maximum continuous winding power of 20 pounds (110 pounds momentary), while the SB750MT boasts 29 pounds of maximum continuous (165 pounds momentary) winding power. The Seaborg Megatwin SB500MT and SB750MT also retrieve line at an amazing rate, with winding speeds of 754 feet per minute and 656 feet per minute, respectively.

A digital readout automatically displays line let out, as well as distance retrieved from the bottom, so you know the depth of your offering at all times. Upon retrieve, a programmable auto-stop feature ensures that the winding stops when your lure or bait reaches the surface. There's even a special jigging function you can set to automatically work a lure according to your programmed specifications.
