Pacific Trolling Gear Pandora XL
The Pandora XL still features the short, tapered head and slanted face that gave the smaller version its enticing wiggle.

Marlin magazine published the first product review of Pacific Trolling Gear's Pro-Soft line of lures more than 10 years ago. These lures blew us away from the very first moment we saw them. Since then, the company has continued to set the standard for high-quality, crystal-clear, color-tinted softhead lures. One of the company's recent offerings, the Pandora, proved very popular among crews because of its tight wiggle. The only problem — Pro-Soft only made the head in a 2-inch version and some of the boys chasing elephants were clamoring for a bigger one. Always willing to please its customers, Pacific Trolling Gear introduced a 4-inch version measuring 15 inches long.

The Pandora XL still features the short, tapered head and slanted face that gave the smaller version its enticing wiggle. A centered leader tube and weighted insert keep the lure from getting too crazy, however, producing a tight shimmy instead of any sweeping motions that a fish might find hard to catch. The Pandora XL now sports the size and profile to stand out in the wash on the short corner, yet it is still small enough to run from the rigger.
