Tournament Cable TC-020 Haywire Tool
Tournament Cable's latest offering, the TC-020 Haywire Tool, represents a welcome relief for mates twisting wire the world over.

Forming a haywire twist in single-strand wire can be a pain, literally, for even the most experienced rigger. Numb and bleeding fingers are par for the course when twisting up dozens of rigs for a dredge or a season of shark fishing. And although you can find a few hand tools that will alleviate some of the pain, they seldom make a consistent haywire twist.

Tournament Cable's latest offering, the TC-020 Haywire Tool, represents a welcome relief for mates twisting wire the world over.

The TC-020 Haywire Tool forms a perfect haywire twist in wire ranging from #1 to #20 gauge.  The machine spins the haywire and then adjusts easily to complete the barrel wraps. Just a couple of adjustments and a few quick turns of the handle produce a completed rig in mere seconds. You can easily add swivels and hooks or just form loop ends for an attachment point.

Easy to operate, the TC-020 measures only 11" x 7" x 3" and weighs less than 4 pounds. You can mount the unit on a bench or use it in the cockpit with suction cups provided.
