If you pull it - they will come. We're never amazed at what blue marlin will come up and give a sniff. From beer cans to boat fenders, if it's smaller than they are and kicking up a fuss, a blue marlin just might eat it. Nacre Lures' latest offering, the Humboldt Squid, utilizes recycled thread spools and weighted rubber squid to create one of the wildest-acting teasers you could ever put in the spread. As a bonus, the spools boast hundreds of holes to create smoke and reduce drag, meaning this is one teaser you could pull from your outriggers if so inclined. The rig stretches out to more than five feet in length and sports a 13-inch, 12-ounce weighted squid at the business end. It also comes rigged with 400-pound-test mono - so it's going to take a big one to take her away.
