Marlinstar Tomahawk Lures

First seen in this magazine a couple of years ago, Marlinstar Tomahawk lures garnered quite a bit of attention due to their unique head shape and side-to-side swimming motion. These lures also dive a couple of feet deep and then slowly wind their way back to the surface. Those anglers brave enough to try something new were rewarded with good catches, and they kept coming back for more.

Marlinstar crafts all of its Tomahawk lures from ultra-clear ballistic urethane, making them extremely durable and resistant to cracks from the whack of a hungry blue marlin. Marlinstar's new Tomahawk G-series comes in four exotic shell colors: pearl, purple, pink and blue. The flat-sided head measures 3½ inches long by 1 inch wide and comes with a 12-inch skirt. The lures weigh just 4 ounces, so you can pull them from any position in the spread.
