Marlin-X life-size teaser

After spending two years on research and development, the folks at Marlin-X created a life-size teaser that looks and swims like an actual feeding billfish.

After watching countless captains turn the boat toward someone with a billfish jumping on the line and getting a hookup of their own, we've pretty much bought into the oft-repeated saying, "There's no better teaser than a billfish on the line." We've often thought that it was only a matter of time before someone out there got the idea of making a full-size billfish-shaped teaser to troll in the wash to bring up some buddies! And after hearing about a team pulling a homemade version of one in last year's White Marlin Open, we were right.

After spending two years on research and development, the folks at Marlin-X created a life-size teaser that looks and swims like an actual feeding billfish. Now with two years of customer feedback, they have enhanced original models to swim better than ever. One-hundred percent handmade, Marlin-X teasers now include many color selections with a new eye design, vibrant artwork, a stronger body structure and stainless-steel towing hardware. And they won't sink if they're somehow detached. The company also added a UV clear coat to stave off sun damage. The teasers come in sailfish, white marlin and blue marlin versions.
