Bristow Big Game Hook

The Bristow Big Game Hook is hardened and tempered, and then hand-finished to a razor edge.

For the past several decades, Capt. Peter Bristow has fished for world-record-class giant marlin from the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to the Atlantic island of Madeira. After trying every hook on the market, Bristow finally designed his own superstrong hook of the right size and design for fishing in his big lures. He called it the Bristow Big Game Hook.

Made in Japan from the finest high-carbon steel, the Bristow Big Game Hook is hardened and tempered, and then hand-finished to a razor edge. Bristow even went a step further and protected his hooks with a tinned finish as well as a zinc anode that offers the ultimate in corrosion protection. These 10/0 hooks retain their sharpness like no other hook on the market.

The ringed eye is tapered and welded. The shank is also extra heavy at the barb, so the point will not shear off under lateral stress.
