The name Fin-Nor still conjures up memories of our sport's early heroes and the huge fish they subdued on what was once considered by many to be the finest big-game reels in the world. These days, Fin-Nor wants to set the new-age standard in lighter, stronger, faster lever-drag reels with the introduction of the Marquesa.

Engineers designed the Marquesa from scratch, approaching the development of this reel with an open mind and an open frame instead of trying to work around old parts and concepts. As a result, Marquesa delivers big-reel strength in a smaller footprint, providing exceptional braided-line performance and big-fish capabilities. These little powerhouses also come with a forged and fully machined frame, a gear side cover and spool, and a super-smooth carbon-fiber drag system capable of providing more than 30 pounds when locked down tightly.

Marquesa comes in four sizes and six models. All are single speed with fast 6.1-to-1 gear ratios and sport an aluminum power handle with oversize ergonomic knob. A 4-weight brake control allows you to keep overruns to a minimum when pitching or casting bait to a teased fish.
