Since many of our sport's legendary masters like Ernest Hemingway and E.K. Harry honed their big-game skills in its warm, clear blue water, the Bahamas hold a lofty place in the history of big-game fishing. A new lure company, BahamaLure, recently turned to these storied fishing grounds to do all of the initial design and testing of its products and decided to adopt the country's name during the process. After getting everything just right down in the tropics, the company now makes all of their lures by hand in another summertime blue marlin hot spot, North Carolina.

All of the company's marlin lures that are 12 inches and larger feature BahamaLure's LCG (Low Center of Gravity) keel-weighted design that guarantees the lures will run straight with the eyes up - even those with asymmetrical head shapes. This keel weight and the addition of a hook-set holder in the back of each lure head also allows you to position and lock your hooks as you wish.

BahamaLure makes more than 14 styles to choose from, including a series of wahoo-busting jet heads, in a wide variety of custom colors and combinations. You can even monogram each lure with a special message or boat name.
