Cobra Marine VHF
Cobra Marine VHF
May 22, 2007
By Capt. Karl Anderson (More articles by this author)

Imagine being able to review that last transmission you couldn't hear because someone on the bridge was talking to you. You know, the part about the bite that's happening down the edge and you're not there ... Well, thanks to the folks at Cobra Marine who brought us affordable radar detectors and CB radios, you can record that last transmission, play it back and get that top-secret location.

The Rewind-Say-Again feature built into the new Cobra Marine VHF utilizes a digital voice recorder to automatically record the last 20 seconds of every transmission. The submersible, fixed-mount MR F80B class D VHF also features user-preset channels, microphone operation, local and distant modes, 10 NOAA weather channels, large illuminated function keys and an LCD display.

Cobra also packed its MR HH425LI VP fully submersible handheld 5-watt VHF with GMRS two-way radio capability on 15 channels, Rewind-Say-Again, VibrAlert for silent alerts, DSC and CTCSS codes for privacy and VOX for hands-free transmission.

For more information, contact Cobra Marine at www.cobra.com.
