Day Four HIBT action netted two boated pacific blue marlin, two boated ahi, twenty one billfish tagged and released which included seven short nose spearfish.
The payout is the 3rd highest in tournament history
The VIGFC and its annual JOBT have benefited the Boys & Girls Club of St. Thomas for over 20 years.
With two teams hooked up during the last 45 minutes of tournament fishing, Old South Marlin Club Team 4 sweated out the top spot on the leaderboard and managed to tag and release yet another Pacific blue marlin.
While several white marlin were weighed, the talk of the day was big eye tuna as well over two dozen were weighed on what will go down as the best day for tuna weighed in the tournament’s 21 year history!
