Riviera Yachts

Over the last 26 years, Riviera Yachts has become the largest builder of sport-fishing yachts in Australia. To date, the company has launched more than 4,000 boats in 30 countries. But few boaters in the States knew much about Riviera until about five years ago when the company entered the U.S. market in a big way.
"Riviera imported its first boat to the United States back in 1983," says Scott MacFarland, director of marketing for Riviera Yachts of the Americas. "We've enjoyed tremendous support from our dealer network and our customers. We used to have to seek out new dealers, but now they're looking for us."
The company now offers 10 flybridge models from 37 to 64 feet. All of the boats feature hand-laid construction and luxurious interiors. Riviera uses a CAD router to precisely cut all the molded parts for the hull, deck and flybridge. The Riviera 60 enclosed flybridge model, designed by Frank Mulder of Holland, features four staterooms, underwater exhaust, prop tunnels and a long list of fishing amenities.
Riviera continues to raise its standards, increasing research and design efforts and bringing new products to market. "Riviera is launching more new models than any other luxury yacht builder in the world," MacFarland says. "The company is continually investing in resources and infrastructure, especially by developing new products and features. The product really speaks for itself."

The company also listened to the needs of its American client base and put 1,506-gallon fuel tanks on the new 56 open flybridge. This model tops out at 40 knots.
"Riviera is now building boats specifically for the U.S. market," MacFarland says. "We've added more power and fuel capacity and built a faster boat in response to our market."
Riviera says it has made a strong commitment to the U.S. market and will continue to fulfill its mission: "To be a world-class Australian company producing quality marine products that exceed customer expectations, to develop the skills of our employees, reward our suppliers and increase our shareholders' and dealers' investments."
