    Regarding the issue of circle hooks on big fish in Cairns, I worked the 1999 season onboard New Moon 3 with Capt. Kim Anderson and we used both J and circle hooks for half a season each. Not only did we find the strike to hookup ratio better with circle hooks but not one fish was released ether bleeding or in an unhealthy state. Read More
