    November 29-Dec. 5, Mauritius Tournament director Andrew Slome had to turn more than eight teams away from entering the 14th Marlin Gold Cup because they simply didn't have enough boats to accommodate them. In the end, 30 teams participated in the five-day event and enjoyed some good fishing to boot. John Winther on the Viking I team scored first on Day One, boating a 370-pound blue on 80-pound.
