I recently read your "Cash Is King" editorial in the November 1997 issue, which mentioned the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament and how five dead blue marlin between 487 and 646 pounds brought in more than $665,000 in cash prizes. The current billfish management plan, which has been in effect since 1988, reads: "Atlantic billfish may only be harvested by rod and reel, and may not be purchased, bartered, traded or offered for sale.
