When it comes time to clean the boat after several days of fishing, we all can use help to make the chore as simple as possible. One product that I use when saltwater spots build up on the paint, aluminum and tackle is regular white vinegar. Mineral spots appear anywhere saltwater or spray lands and dries in the hot sun. Since vinegar is a mild acid, it does a fine job of dissolving away mineral and salt deposits left behind from days of salt spray. Apply the vinegar with a wash mitt and let it sit for several minutes, depending on the degree of build up. Read More
